The Challenge
B2Gnow, a well-established software company serving government agencies and contractors, came to Bop Design seeking a complete website overhaul. Their previous site was outdated, difficult to navigate, and didn’t reflect their stature as a leader in the industry. The company had two core software products – one of which was acquired a couple years prior and was hosted on a separate website. They needed to consolidate both products under a single B2G website to present a unified brand, better communicate their solutions, and optimize for search engines. The site’s visual presence also needed an upgrade to replace uninspired stock photos and add more product imagery.
The Solution
Our team focused on building a modern, visually engaging website that clearly differentiated their supplier diversity and grant management solutions while positioning them as a market leader. We expanded the site’s color palette and incorporated team photos to impart a more human feel. Our designers also recreated over a dozen product screenshots to improve visual clarity and better showcase their offerings. Interactive infographics and reusable modules were added to explain their complex solutions, and a rotating news updates slider was introduced to keep content fresh.
To ensure that both their software offerings were clearly defined, we added over 30 new landing pages through an intuitive site structure and mega-navigation. Since SEO was a key objective, we performed extensive keyword research and integrated relevant keyword phrases into target pages to improve search potential. It was important for the site to be extremely flexible so the B2Gnow team could easily make content changes when needed, so we created a customized WordPress backend that enabled their marketing team to easily add and modify new pages
The Results
The redesign delivered significant improvements in site performance, positioning B2Gnow as a recognized leader in the B2G software space. In the two months following the launch, sessions increased by 23%, organic search sessions grew by 24%, and engaged sessions improved by 24%, clear signs that the renewed design, navigation, and SEO efforts were attracting fresh traffic. The flexible website structure now enables B2Gnow to manage content updates internally, supporting ongoing growth. The team loved the website graphics so much they are now incorporating its design elements into their other marketing materials, including sales presentations.
