The challenge

Glassdome, a software company focused on carbon footprint measurement and production monitoring, sought out Bop Design for a B2B website design that would better showcase its offerings and drive lead generation. The team described the previous site as “a pretty billboard that no one sees,” and lacking the depth required for effective marketing. Additionally, the site was difficult for the Glassdome team to manage independently without having to pay a vendor to make changes. With plans to expand in the US and strengthen their global presence, Glassdome needed a strategic B2B website redesign to support marketing, SEO, and digital ad initiatives.

The solution

Through many rounds of discovery and collaboration, our website design team built out a newly structured B2B website with dedicated pages for the platform and for each solution: production monitoring and carbon footprint measurement. We also introduced industry-specific and regulation-specific pages to address diverse compliance requirements. Our copywriters drafted robust copy, optimized with relevant keywords, to showcase benefits and address Glassdome’s target audience.

We also included an enhanced Insights section to house blogs, case studies, and news updates to make valuable content easily accessible. To boost credibility, we introduced a ‘Why Glassdome’ page and improved the visibility of case studies, integrating statistics and visual callouts.

To differentiate Glassdome from competitors (whose websites all had a “light and airy” feel), we designed a bold visual identity with a dark background, vibrant green highlights symbolizing eco-consciousness, and contrasting orange CTAs. Our design team created abstract data flow graphics to visually represent how data is harnessed and developed standardized icon sets to maintain consistency across pages.

The new B2B website was built to ensure user-friendly content management in WordPress, allowing Glassdome to make updates without agency support.

In addition to the website overhaul, we continue to support Glassdome with website maintenance, analytics monitoring and reporting, and managing digital advertising through Google Ads, making improvements in both organic and paid lead generation.

Results

The B2B website design project delivered impressive results within three months of launch, including a nearly 60% increase in organic search traffic and a 48% boost in engaged organic sessions. The engagement rate rose by 9%, while organic social traffic surged by 206%. Direct traffic improved by 33% while average events per session increased by 16%. The Glassdome team was thrilled to see right-fit leads coming in just a week after launch, validating the effectiveness of the new B2B website and content strategy.
