The Challenge

Inovar, a leader in commercial packaging and labeling, struggled with an outdated brand and website after years of acquiring sub-brands, each with its own logo and website. Their online presence failed to communicate their value proposition and needed to present a more cohesive brand. Navigation was clunky, content was inconsistent, and SEO was underperforming, leading to low-quality leads. Inovar needed a modern B2B website design that unified its brand, showcased its expertise, and drove qualified traffic while supporting future growth through continued acquisitions.

The Solution

First, our team got to work on redesigning the Inovar logo and created a standardized logo template for its nine sub-brands, creating a more cohesive visual identity across all its properties. In tandem with the logo design, we refined the brand color palette and laid out all the standards in a formal brand guide the team could use to inform future brand decisions.

We then created a modern, professional, unified family of websites for Inovar and all nine sub-brands – 10 websites in total. The new B2B websites featured colorful product imagery, intuitive navigation, and the addition of 100+ product, industry, and services pages – 80 of which our content team wrote. We also implemented dynamic linking for cross-site usability and search rankings. Interactive features, such as a map highlighting Inovar’s nationwide reach, and sections showcasing their innovation, certifications, and sustainability efforts, reinforced their leadership in the industry.

To allow seamless management moving forward for the Inovar team, we tapped into WordPress Multi-site, which enabled them to maintain individual sub-brand identities under a cohesive visual system.

The Results

Bop launched all 10 websites in one day without a hitch. Three months after launch, we saw major increases in all metrics compared to a year prior. Direct sessions increased by 191%, with new users rising by 118%. Organic search went up by 58%, a sign that our new SEO strategy was already working. The visitors who came to the site stayed, as evidenced by engaged sessions increasing by 103%. With an upgraded, unified brand presence and dynamic B2B website system, Inovar is positioned for sustained growth and future acquisitions, ensuring their leadership in the packaging industry is as bold and innovative as their solutions.
