The Challenge
Solar energy provider REC Solar was challenged with establishing its brand identity and messaging after breaking away from its parent company. Its online presence was dwarfed living under the umbrella of the other brand, with key messaging and services buried deep within the website. REC Solar came to Bop Design to create a B2B website that showcased its new branding as a standalone company, with a key goal of drawing in leads.
The Solution
While the REC Solar design team had developed a brand guide, some elements weren’t suitable for a modern B2B website design. Our designers collaborated with the client to narrow down the brand colors in a fashion that was still bright, fresh, and colorful, yet modern and welcoming for an online audience. Our content and SEO teams conducted extensive keyword research and created a site map and navigational structure around targeted terms to drive organic search traffic. We integrated keywords strategically throughout the copy and included numerous calls-to-action to encourage conversions.
Results
Just three months after the website launched, we’ve already seen marked improvements in key lead generation metrics. Organic search sessions increased by 19% while organic search users went up nearly 24%, demonstrating that our SEO strategy was paying off and attracting traffic to the website. By prioritizing lead generation, optimizing content for search engines, and enhancing user experience, REC Solar has a powerful online platform to attract, engage, and convert potential customers.
